International Mothers’ Day Bazaar presented by MWA

The event was presented by the Muslim Women’s Association of Washington, DC (MWA). One of the main purposes of the Bazaar was to demonstrate the beauty, variety and diversity of Muslim majority nations around the world as well as the solidarity and friendship of Muslim women worldwide.  Also, it is a major fundraising activity.  The monies raised by the annual Bazaar is used to provide college scholarship assistance to young Muslim women studying in the Washington, DC metropolitan area as well as for disaster relief through US based charitable organizations.
